Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, the minimum for 1 or 2 color printing is 12, 3- 4 color printing is 36, 5+ colors is 96.

What is your turn around time?
Many variables will determine the turnaround time. The two main factors that determine the turn around time are complexity of artwork, and size of order. You should allow roughly two weeks, usually it is around 7 - 10 days, but could be less if circumstances allow.

Do you offer color separations?
Yes, we have do color separations and trapping.

Do you require a deposit?
On all new orders we require 50% up front, and the balance at the time
of pickup. Regular customers can qualify for terms.

Do you accept checks or credit cards?
Yes, we prefer cash or checks at this time.

Do I have to come in to place an order?
No, you can also place your order by phone, fax or email.

Do you do embroidery?
Yes. Turn around is often shorter for embroidery.

Do you do heat transfers?
We can produce heat transfer images on artwork up to 10" X 16".

How many colors can you print?
We can print up to eight (8) colors on each image.

Can customers proof the final product before printing?
Yes, if you ask to do so. You will be asked to sign-off on all artwork before we go to actual physical print. You must be flexible to view press-proof whenever receiving a call to do so.

Do you deliver?
Yes. Within the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley.


Technical Questions

What format should artowork be submitted in?
Artwork should be camera ready, color separated with trapping and as close to
size as possible.We prefer vector artwork from either Adobe Illustrator 10 and lower or Freehand. Send your art files to this address: orders@shirtgraphics.com

I only have my artwork printed on paper or an old T-shirt, is that OK?
Sure, we can work from that. Choose the best quality and largest sample of the artwork that you have. If you don't have the artwork in a computer file, printed would be next best.

Can artwork be submitted on a disk or emailed?
No floppy disk or hardisks. We prefer artwork to be emailed to: orders@shirtgraphics.com or placed on a CD. Either PC or Mac is fine.

What computer programs do you use?
Adobe Illustrator 10, Freehand, or Photoshop 7.0. We are MAC based but acept PC files.

Do you need color separations?
Yes. Images with more than one color need to be color separated (each
color printed in black and white on a separate sheet of paper or vellum film). If you donŐt have the means to produce separations, we can provide them for a fee.

Can you match PMS colors?
Yes, but there is a color matching fee.

How big can an image be printed?
The maximum imprint area on adult size shirts is 17" wide by 15"
high.

Can customers supply their own screens?
No. Our presses may require different sized screens.

Do customers own their own screens?
No, the screen fee is a labor charge which covers the set-up and
cleaning of the screens.

Do customers own their own film?
Yes, the film is yours to have but is not rcommended.

Do you only print t-shirts?
No, we also print on virtually any other apparel item you can think of. Team jerseys,
towels, hats, jackets, etc.

What brand do you carry?
Our most popular brands are Hanes, Fruit of the Loom and Jerzees.

Do you have a catalog?
We are working on one at this time. Check back.

Do you sell pre-printed t-shirts?
No, we only do custom work.

What sizes are available?
Most items are available in adult sizess S (34-36), M (38-40), L(42-44)
XL (46-48), XXL (50-52), XXXL (54-56) and youth sizes XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12), L (14-16).

WhatŐs the difference between 50/50 and 100% cotton?
The all cotton shirts are heavier, but both are quality shirts as far
as printability, shrinkage and fading. ItŐs really a matter of preference.

Do you have samples for customers to look at?
Yes, we have samples of most items and color
s at our office.
